8. A POWERED DAVIT SYSTEM IS BETTER
Any sailor will tell you that the ability to launch and retrieve a dinghy is central to living aboard.
The davit system is built into the stainless steel arch and carries the dinghy (the recommended dinghy size is 11-feet). The standard powered Harken winch aft means you can easily raise the dinghy, even with the outboard still attached.
The davit system built into the arch ensure that the dinghy and outboard are secure when on off-shore passages. Below is an Antares sailing with a center console dinghy and a 20HP outboard engine.
